Domestication

Most of society- it is layers of trash. Layer over layer of competing to be better than other humans. Such stupidity. I look at the art I do and the vanity it requires, and I want to spit it out of my mouth; operating like someone grappling for the lead. Going for the lead is an error.

These painted worlds are wishes, and I don't want to live wishes anymore.Dreams are only so good for people. What is real?

We have been poisoned beyond our wildest glimpses. Poisoned in heart and mind and perhaps even soul. The art and hallelujahs are ill. What is the medicine?

I must be a total mess then,
because I see the beautiful gift of creativity and feel it flows from source and hence honors our creator. The Universe and all of nature is playful and creative. So we learn the art of seperating the wheat from the chaff in us and in growing humility inspire others in this vibe. So often I have been re-membered to aspects of my God given self that I trashed along the way by what you share, that is the medicine, no?

A little negative Shan, I see plenty of good out there. Don't think all competition is unhealthy.

Yes it's definitely negative! But I do feel negative about society. It's not all good- look at what it does to people. Our hierarchical mindset and behavior hurt us. Everything is ranked, and people at the bottom of the pyramid are crushed.

I guess many things are good medicine...

Great to hear from you both- thank you

Hey ,in the Gospel of the Nazerine (there it was grapes, not fish, cool metaphor for vines and clusters), but he, one single guy took a few grapes and fed the multitudes. He was able because the gaze of his heart was kept fixed on what God is and poured out those vibes. When God blows the top off our dreams for what we would want to happen in this life, or the way we think it should be and opens our awareness to the truth that what is actual is so so so much greater, woah! That is some medicine. Let's keep our gaze fixed beyond good and bad and not underestimate the the power of one heart's ability flowing in love to raise that pyramid for many, huh?

Keep on keepin' on Beauty :)

Okay, me too and we will 'feel' for the world... (just read yet another timely Sermon On The Veld) we are deeply blessed, Love. <3

Hey Shannon thanks for coming by. At this point in my life I am choosing to focus on the beauty in life and see that as the reality I create. But it takes all kinds to make the world go round. Funny how we were both focusing on clouds yesterday... both sides of them, too, it would seem

The world is made up of individuals. Each individual has control only over self. To strive for excellence, to try to be better each day than you were yesterday, to perfect your own self, to increase your own abilities and talents and see just how far you can go in this life is self-fulfillment, not competition. Won't it be a blast when we get to the end of this life and look back to see just how much we've accomplished? God bless, Shannon.
